Your Questions, Answered

Cove Transportable Homes are premium, relocatable houses built to the highest standards in Queensland, Australia. Unlike traditional site-built homes, our transportable homes are constructed in a controlled factory environment and then delivered to your location. They differ from modular homes in that they are typically delivered as a complete unit rather than in sections.

Compared to tiny homes, which are usually under 400 square feet, our transportable homes offer more spacious living areas starting from around 600 square feet. They're also distinct from mobile homes or caravans as they're designed for permanent living and comply with all Australian building codes for residential structures. Our homes offer the perfect balance of quality, sustainability, and flexibility for modern Australian lifestyles.

We're proud to offer Australia-wide delivery for our premium transportable homes. While we're based in Queensland, we can transport our homes to any accessible location across the country. As a special offer to our local customers, we provide free delivery within a 100km radius of Agnes Water, QLD.

For locations beyond this range, we calculate delivery costs based on distance and logistics requirements. Rest assured, our experienced team manages all aspects of transportation to ensure your new home arrives safely and efficiently.

Our premium 2-bedroom design starts at around $200,000. This price point reflects the high-quality materials, expert craftsmanship, and advanced energy-efficient features incorporated into every Cove home.

While this may be higher than some basic transportable options on the market, our homes offer superior comfort, durability, and long-term value. Each home is tailored to meet individual client needs, so final prices may vary based on specific design choices, size, and additional features.

While we don't directly handle council approvals for our clients, we provide comprehensive assistance throughout the process. It's important to note that requirements can vary significantly between different local councils across Australia. Generally, you'll need to submit plans for your transportable home, including its proposed location on your property, to your local council for approval.

Key considerations often include zoning regulations, setbacks from property boundaries, connection to utilities, and compliance with local building codes. Our team can provide detailed specifications and documentation about our homes to support your application. We recommend engaging with your local council early in the planning process to understand specific requirements for your area.

We're proud to announce that all Cove Transportable Homes now meet or exceed the new 7-star energy rating standard implemented in May 2024. This rating is part of the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) and indicates superior energy efficiency. Our homes achieve this through a combination of smart design principles and high-quality materials.

Key features include optimal orientation for passive solar heating and cooling, high-performance insulation in walls, floors, and ceilings, double-glazed windows, and energy-efficient appliances. This 7-star rating means our homes require significantly less energy for heating and cooling compared to standard builds, resulting in lower energy bills and a reduced carbon footprint for our clients.

The timeline for a Cove Transportable Home can vary depending on the complexity of the design and current demand, but typically ranges from 12 to 16 weeks from the date of order to completion. This efficient timeline is one of the major advantages of our factory-built process, allowing for parallel site preparation and home construction.

Once your home is ready, delivery and installation usually take 1-2 days, depending on your location and site conditions. Our team manages the entire process, from transportation to final positioning on your prepared site, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition to your new home.

Absolutely. Our transportable homes are constructed in Queensland, adhering strictly to all Australian building standards. This includes compliant electrical wiring, plumbing, and other essential systems. Ensuring safety and quality is our top priority, providing you with peace of mind in your new home.
Yes, we provide delivery services across Australia. For clients located within a 100km radius of Agnes Water, Queensland, we offer free delivery.
